This course is designed to be viewed using a screen resolution of 1024 by 768 to accommodate the large diagrams, animations, and schematics. It is recommended that you set your screen resolution to 1024 by 768 to avoid having to scroll to view all of the content.

Saving Your Place in the Course

As you proceed through the course you will likely be completing some of the lesson content and then leaving to return later. While there is no automated record-keeping or bookmarking, you can easily place a manual bookmark. When you are ready to leave, press Ctrl-d (press and hold the Ctrl key and then press D). This will record the exact page you are on in your favorites folder. When you are ready to return to the course, select favorites and look for "Applying Lessons Learned from Accidents." Select that favorite and your browser will jump to the page you were on when you left. Note that you can repeat this process (press Ctrl-D) each time you leave and the "Applying Lessons Learned from Accidents" favorites entry will be updated to your current location in the course. That is, each time you use Ctrl-D it will overwrite the one favorite entry with your current location rather than creating a new favorite entry.

Maximizing Screen Space

If you would like to switch the Internet Explorer browser to take up less room with browser buttons and have more room for the course content you can press the F11 function key. The F11 key toggles Internet Explorer to minimize the buttons and maximize the space available for the course.

Videos and Animations
